I love building (software). I love the work behind it even more.

About me

The work comes first.

I am Yeslin. I co-founded Bonsai Software with Mees and we grew it into a profitable, seven-figure business with 15 employees within two years: AI software for maritime, logistics, trade and food.

We are based in Rotterdam, the place I like to call home and where a lot of these industries come together. I love building software, but I am often more interested in the work itself: sitting with the people and organisations moving things from A to B, getting citrus from Africa into Europe, or improving the performance of the Port of Rotterdam.

Understanding deeply how these industries work is what motivates me most. Seeing where it breaks, and how we can make it better: more transparent, more serviceable, more efficient. That is hard. Fortunately we have a great team that truly makes the difference.
